There are so many weddings we get to photograph, and each is special in its own way. There’s something about Kyra and Antonio’s wedding, however, that we were really blessed to be a part of.
Their wedding was held in Freehold, NJ, with a traditional Catholic ceremony at their church, followed by a beautiful, elegant reception at 618 Restaurant in Freehold. The wedding itself was a beautiful celebration of their faith, family, and love.
We began the day by taking photos of the wedding party at the local Catholic Church in Freehold, where Kyra and Antonio held their traditional ceremony, featuring many beautiful and emotional moments for everyone in attendance. The ceremony was stunning in the grand, beautiful Catholic Church and provided a lovely backdrop for their vows. After the ceremony, we traveled to 618 Restaurant in Freehold for portraits of just the two of them.
We were able to sneak away from the festivities to take a few photos of the newlyweds before heading to the reception. Throughout our time shooting wedding portraits, Kyra and Antonio displayed a great deal of natural affection for one another. Many of the photos were captured in a relaxed, candid fashion — lots of kisses, hand-holding, and even hugs with kisses on the cheek.
A Beautiful Evening at 618 Restaurant
After the ceremony, we headed to various photo locations before making our way to the reception at 618 Restaurant in Freehold, NJ. These photos provided wonderful shots to add to the couple’s wedding album as we captured their love on their special day. Locations were chosen near the ceremony to minimize travel time so the couple could get back to their guests in time.
The space at 618 was wonderful — warm and inviting for all of the guests. The couple, surrounded by their loving family and friends, danced to their first song as a married couple. The speeches were heartfelt, and it was great to capture the celebration as it transitioned through the night, with lots of candid shots of laughter, dancing, and joy.
The evening was packed as more and more family and friends arrived. Soon the whole venue was buzzing, and everyone was having a great time. We captured wonderful photos of the bride and groom on the dance floor, surrounded by their families and friends — the music, laughter, and movement of the night created a fantastic atmosphere throughout.
